The Story Behind The Website

Small businesses are struggling because of the COVID-19 pandemic. On top of that, Asian American civil rights groups report a number of Asian-owned businesses are experiencing a decline in customers and discrimination because of the unjust way some are connecting Asians to the coronavirus. As the granddaughter of small business owners, and as someone who's very proud of her Asian heritage, I was inspired to help. Below is a still-growing list of links to Asian-owned restaurants in San Diego, organized by location. Many are family-owned. Whether it's takeout, delivery, or dining there when it's possible--a little will go a long way. Thank you.
